UNDEFEATED x AM90 “Pacific Blue”
To celebrate the Air Max Day 2020, UNDEFEATED teamed up with Nike and released a new iteration of the Air Max 90. Dubbed “Pacific Blue,” the new sneaker is counter of the three colorways from the streetwear brand’s latest collaboration with Nike.
Air Max 90 Pacific Blue
The sneaker is inspired by the New York street scene of the 90s where people wore a lot of technical outdoor gear. The upper of the Air Max 90 has been stripped down and reinterpreted with an array of vibrant materials.
Colour-wise, the sneaker iteration features touches of “Pacific Blue”, “Vast Grey” and “Vivid Purple”.
In terms of materials, an updated construction of nubuck leather and hairy suede hit the sneaker. Translucent overlays and technical mesh are here to finish the look.
The new elements for this Air Max 90 Pacific Blue include a removed mud flap, an added heel pull tab and an enlarged hairy suede Swoosh.
To round off the design, the UNDEFEATED branding comes on the tongue tag and back panel. The Nike Air and Air Max logos hit the rear, the midsole and the icy rubber outsole.
