    Sashiko has been a frequent feature for sneaker brands over the years, more so in the past 18 months with sneakers like the Air Jordan 4, Air Force 1, Blazer – and even the Ultra BOOST 21 taking on the traditional Japanese scheme. Now, after revealing a new theme on the Superstar, an adidas Forum Low “Sashiko” has surfaced to join it for release in early 2022.

    Akin to the Superstar, the pair is clad in two main materials, shifting between a signature blue canvas and a vachetta tan build. The latter gracing the tongue and heel clip. As you’d expect from the title, the upper is stitched in white thread to start true to tradition, with special ribbed underlays to showcase the signature Three Stripes in stitch. Sail and navy sole units sit underfoot, and the pair is then completed by faded tongue branding, leather liners and insoles, and four sets of laces.
