On-Foot Looks at the adidas NMD Hu Cream/Gum

Pharrell William’s latest line of adidas NMD Hu collaborations all carry one consistent theme; gum soles. Previewed earlier this year as part of a Summer collection, these Cream/White/Gum “Breath Throughs” join the fan-favorite Volt, and two other arriving in black and pink respectively. But today we get our first detailed look at the beige, thanks to Instagram’s @YankeeKicks.

Like the others from the pack, it rocks a classic white midsole/gum outsole combo, with this particular pair opting for beige lace cages and EVA inserts, a warm cream woven upper and embroidered “Breath Throughs” across the vamp — a friendly reminder to keep calm and relax. Heel overlays arrive in a light bone leather, with matching-colored striped shoelaces complete the design.
