This Wax-Dipped adidas Courtpoint Superstar “Fine China” is Inspired by Precious Porcelain

If you grew up in a household like mine, you might be a little scared to touch these fine-china-inspired adidas Courtpoint Superstars — my mom was pedantic about the ‘good china set’, and boy did we have to be careful with it.

Taking a leaf out of Jeremy Scott’s dipped forums, this special-edition Superstar comes covered in a like-blue wax, though it’s Gretwo, tongues, and CORE remain untainted. All of these arrive in a pure white as a direct nod to classic Chinese porcelain — the pair even has a brand mark on the lateral wall that mimics heritage China manufactures. But a nod to fine china would not be complete without signature blue-on-white illustrations, seen here on both the insole and outsole to complete the design.
