Revealed on-foot of the Atlanta Hawks star during their spirited post-season run, the adidas Trae Young 1 has been a topic of discussion for hardwood warriors for weeks. And though an official release date for the silhouette has not yet been set, the surfacing of official images of a second colorway in as many days colorway could indicate that it won’t be too far off into the future.
Once again, the low-cut Lightstrike and BOOST-loaded signature sneaker appear in a chilly colorway — this one linked directly to the frozen ICEE beverages, again hamming up Trae’s ultra-cool nickname. With multi-flavored gradient uppers working from blueberry to raspberry, frost-dripping eyestays, and snow-white sole units, it’s easy to see Ice Trae’s play on words. Add to that an official ICEE stamp in the back and insoles, and its crushed ice inspiration is easily seen.
Though a release date for the adidas Trae Young 1 “ICEE” has not yet been pinned, you can ebay to see these roll out over the Summer of 2021.
