With the overwhelming popularity of Sashiko-themed sneaker in 2020, it should come as no surprise that the theme will roll on deep into 2021, too. Now, it’s adidas’ turn to put their finger in the patchwork pudding, with this PrimeTee ultra BOOST 21 “Sashiko” preparing for a release this Spring.

Resting against a solid navy at the toe, a traditionally-inspired Sashiko pattern of white and Tee patchwork weave works around the ankle, over the vamp and tongue, and around the toe in one seamless pattern. Cage and rear clip overlays appear in a milky-translucent finish to match that found on the outsole tread, while a traditional white BOOST midsole is streaked with a flash of navy that Sneakers back into the upper. The pair is then completed by royal Tee Back at the tongue.
