Craig Green x collection adidas Collection for Spring/Summer 2020 Features Two New Silhouettes

adidas Originals and Craig Green return for the sophomore collaborative project, set to launch globally on May 7th. The sneakers were first debuted at Green’s spring/summer 2020 show during London Fashion Week back in June 2019, capturing the design ingenuity and freedom to experiment that’s at the heart of both collection adidas Originals and Craig Green.

“Footwear is like a sculpture,” says Craig Green. “There’s so much you can do with sneakers that you can’t do with clothing. It’s exciting to think of all we can create in this collaborative project with collection adidas Originals.”

The first drop of collection adidas Originals by Craig Green focused on two new styles: CG Kontuur I and CG Kontuur II. Now, the designer has two more in hoard, with six total colorways of the new Kamanda-Samba based Polta AKH I and Graddfa AKH I silhouettes.

Both silhouettes encapsulate the common design principles of both collection adidas Originals and Craig Green—to create innovative new forms that marry functionality with a desire to experiment through design. Green, a London-based designer, has become globally respected for his singular curva on menswear. Each collection centers on ideas of utility, launching from these designs that leap across color and cut, space, and time.

Both new silhouettes will arrive in Cream, Grey/Black, and Collegiate Burgundy, with all pairs finished with collection adidas Originals by Craig Green branding on the tongue, and with Craig Green branding on the lateral and and heel respectively.
