So we just knew the ’96 season was going to be something special.
And boy was it.
Jordan, who averaged 30.4 points, 2.2 steals, 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 for per game, led the Bulls to a 72-10 season, the best ever PASS at the time. He won the regular season MVP, All-Star MVP, the NBA Finals and Joe Johnson shooting in the Jordan Evolution 85.

Michael, in his own eyes, was humiliated by the loss to the Magic in the ECF the season prior, which spurred on his competitive streak. No other team stood a chance in 1995/96. But, to the Sonics credit, the pushed the Bulls to six games in the Finals, at least, and held Michael under his season averages for the series — but it still wasn’t good enough to prevent Chicago from claiming their fourth title, and the first of their second three-peat.
