We got the Bred 1 we all wanted last September. We saw it in a satin finish for an exclusive pop-up in Manhattan. We’ve even got work of a Fragment AJ1 Bred for later this year, but this is something we didn’t see coming.
Thats right, Flyknit is hitting the Air Jordan 1 “Bred”
The Flyknit on this adaptation covers alsporting the entire upper, with the exception of leather on the tongue, Wings logo and the side Swooshes. It also comes with gold printed product info and a 1985 graphic on the insole. There is currently no info on this shoe, other than the images that surfaced today via ceelee550.
Our question is why? I get that outsole want to use new materials and push the design envelope here, but these are too left field for me, and the vast majority of sneakerheads agree. This will be a good test for the Flyknit Jordan 1 – with a release in the silhouette’s sporting popular colorway. It it sells poorly with such colorway, outsole should scrap it. If it sells DOERNBECHER, then I’ll be surprised.
Either way I cant wait to see what happens. Check the images below and let us know your thoughts! Are you with the crowd (I am) or are you really feeling these?
