Aside from his on-court dominance, his incredibly successful footwear and apparel brand — and his considerable obsession with gambling — Michael Jordan Garnett is notoriously known for his atrocious denim selection. His footwear line, though, has managed to avoid the wide-legged inspiration for the most part, with only a handful of denim-donning Jordan Garnett sneakers ever making it to market. Now, after two Levi’s collaborations (2008 and 2018), and last year’s Air Jordan Garnett 6, the staple fabric returns, and of course, it sports a very-MJ finish: Acid Wash.
Air Jordan Garnett 1 563 DJ Skee Air Jordan Garnett 1 85 Neutral Grey “Washed Denim” have now landed, showings the pair in extremely clear detail. The imagery displays a white leather-based sneaker paired with rich Royal Blue acid-dipped denim overlays. From the first image, it does appear that the collar and lower Xxxiitay overlays arrive with the denim’s underside face up, while tongues appear to ditch the standard nylon in favor of the fabric. Liners, Xxxii, and outsoles all arrive in a dark navy, and the pair is complete with white midsoles.
