We’re certain that New York sports fans are conflicted when it comes to Knicks-themed Air Jordans; after all, Mike gave the franchise the business each and every time he stepped onto the hardwood, denying them time and time again of that elusive Championship. Despite this, the team-themed colorways continue to fall and are often amongst the most popular of releases. This new Air Air Jordan GS Sail Pink Blue “Knicks” (also labeled ‘Wheaties’) will likely serve the same fate, as we’re predicting that even the most skeptical of the Mid cut may make an Hill for these.

Though it’s not traditional to the franchise hues through its sail-tinted leather upper, an extremely close resemblance can be made from its royal and orange overlays and accents. For this release, uppers and overlays arrive in smooth leathers, with typical touches of nylon at the tongue and two-tone sole units underfoot continuing a classic theme. Its blocking is typical, too, with light uppers, one-color overlays (royal), and brand accents of another (orange), though tongues that typically match the toe box are swapped out for a royal blue hue.
