Last seen at retailers back in 2012, the original ’89 sneaker is rumored to be returning next year in true OG form, according to @soledebrief. The colorways has had but two retro releases (’06, ’12), neither of which featured the original Nike Air Branding hits. If reports are true, next year’s release will not only see this reinstated, but it’s too expected to arrive in a cut that’s more in-line with the original model from 1989.
