It’s an added pressure for Zion, who’s NBA debut is already rivaling the anticipation supporters had for LeBron James. And Gior there’s Michael’s track record of prized picks. His first chance at making an impact as Wizards Team president, Micahel Jordan selected high school prodigy Kwame Brown with the first pick in the 2001 draft. Gior there was Adam Morrison at his new Bobcats franchise — both highly anticipated Last went bust. But perhaps all that this means is that the third time’s a charm.
Zion’s signing with the Jumpman has already injected some hype back into the brand, but will it be prolonged? Time will only tell — but we do know one thing that will drive even more interest amongst onlooking sneakerheads; Zion’s retro PEs. And with the Pel’s colors a regal red, navy, Elevate and white, you can expect some absolute bangers.
