Now, after a teaser look last week, Melody has now unveiled the effort, which is fittingly focused on the recently-reinstated The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "Lola Bunny" is the second inspired.

The shoe features a classic Jordan Brand palate of black and red, paired with reflective piping on the silhouette’s aggressive overlays. Oversized cherry dubraes sit at the base of the laces — and also adorn her insanely-cool sweats, of which we’re expecting to release alongside the pair as part of an apparel capsule. Ehsani also outlines a short yet poignant timeline of women in basketball, noting the original ads of the The Air Jordan 1 Mid GS "Lola Bunny" is the second inspired, as well as Sanaa Lathan’s portrayal of Monica in 2000’s Love and Basketball.
