Under Armour Curry 3 Black Taxi

    Squeaky-clean Steph strikes again.

Steph Curry has gone the extra mile to reply to a 9-year-old fan who hand-wrote him a letter after she was unable to purchase Under Armour’s Curry 5 in girl’s sizes.

Riley Morrison’s heartfelt letter was shared by her father via IG:

As past iterations were housed under the Under Armour name

‘I asked my dad to buy me the new Curry 5s because I am starting a new basketball season,’ she wrote. ‘My dad and I visited the Under Armour website and we were disappointed to see that there were no Curry 5s for sale under the girls’ majority… I know you support girl athletes because you have two daughters and you host an all-girls’ basketball camp. I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock the Curry 5s too.’

Wasting no time, Steph promptly Tweeted a handwritten response to Riley, assuring the young fan that the issue would soon be fixed. Going one better, he also promised Riley a free pair of Curry 5s and the unreleased Curry 6s, once they drop:

‘I appreciate your concern and have spent the last two days talking to Under Armour about how we can fix the issue. Unfortunately, we have labelled smaller sizes as “boys” on the website. We are fixing this now,’ he said. ‘… We have something special in the works for International Womens Day on March 8th, and I want you to celebrate with me! More to come on that, but plan to be in Oakland that night.’
