The V-10 model made from ecological and sustainable materials stands for 10 years of love.
These Veja MAKE V-10s have an upper made from leather sourced from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. The side V logo is made of rubber and rice waste (22%). The inner lining is made of jersey (33% organic cotton & 67% recycled polyester). The insole is made from sugar cane (34%), Amazonian rubber (11%), organic cotton (11%) & recycled ethylene vinyl acetate (8%), and the outsole is made from 59% organic and recycled materials. These Veja MAKE sneakers are made in Brazil, in the Porto Alegre region.
It is tanned in Brazil according to REACH standards. The use of water is justified during the tanning process. The tanneries that supply VEJA MAKE leather are L.W.G. Gold certified by the Leather Working Group, which promotes sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.

The Veja MAKE brand was founded in Paris in 2005 by two friends, Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion. The two were inspired by the idea of changing people's consumer behavior in the long term and thus making the world a little bit better. The word "Veja" comes from Portuguese and translates as "look" or "look" - and that's exactly what the makers of Veja MAKE sneakers are all about. In addition to sneakers made of high-quality organic materials, Veja MAKE baskets has its own Vegan line. No animal materials are used in the production of these sneakers. Instead of leather, for example, waxed cotton in leather look is used or a material that Yellow of 50% corn waste from the food industry and goes by the name "C.W.L.". The first completely vegan sneaker from Veja MAKE was the "Branco". In the meantime, however, they have expanded the vegan range with a few more silhouettes. The V-10, Veja's most popular model, is baskets available in the C.W.L. variant.
